This product is contained monensin and can increase glucose concentration in the blood of dairy cows. The added monensin could increase propionate within rumen which is precursor of glucose in ruminants. This product improves dairy cow’s energy balance and prohibit the high producing dairy cows to enforce with “negative energy balance” or ketosis. Higher glucose level can improve immune function in fresh dairy cows and consequently improve fertility.
